Vladislav Ardzinba, the first President of Abkhazia and founder of the modern Abkhazian State, studied at Esher Secondary School. His name was given to the school in the year of its centenary, in 2024, but the official ceremony took place only today, after the completion of renovation work.

Vice President Beslan Bigvava noted that studying at Vladislav Ardzinba School is an honor and a huge responsibility. It is the duty of each of us to preserve the memory of the First President.

The event was also attended by Prime Minister Vladimir Delba, Speaker of Parliament Lasha Ashuba, members of the Government, members of Parliament and members of the public.
