According to the President, today the flag unites all citizens of the republic, reminds of the history of the people and the price of freedom and independence, and inspires creative work for the prosperity of the Motherland. Every citizen feels proud when a flag is flying over the country — a symbol of unity, dignity and sovereignty.

Badra Gunba expressed confidence that the day will come when the flag of Abkhazia will be represented in all international organizations, and the number of states that have recognized the country will steadily grow.
