President Badra Gunba attended the opening of the renovated Central Market in Tkuarchal

The reopening of the Central Market was carried out on behalf of President Badra Gunba as part of the Year of the Village.

The facility, which has been inactive for a long time, resumed its work today. The Head of State personally assessed the results of the restoration work and got acquainted with the fair, where residents of all villages of the Tkuarchal district presented their agricultural products.

Fresh vegetables, fruits, homemade cheese and honey were displayed in the farm area, and dishes of national cuisine were served in the gastronomic area. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the creative agency "Abart" also took part in the fair.

Badra Gunba noted that the launch of the market will create conditions for the development of trade and will allow agricultural producers and residents of all villages of the district to sell their own products.

Then President Badra Gunba arrived at the Tkuarchal Railway Station, where he officially launched the first walking tour route "Everything to Tkuarchal".

The project was developed by journalist Arifa Kapba, who had previously launched similar excursion programs in Sukhumi. The author of the route told the Head of State, residents and guests of the city in detail about the features of the pedestrian path and the attractions included in it.

During the trip along the route, the President also inspected the archival photo exhibition "Old Tkuarchal", located on the promenade near the wall of the State Power Plant.
