Please accept my sincere congratulations on the great holiday — Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
This day will forever remain in our memory as a symbol of the courage, resilience and invaluable feat of the Soviet people.
May 9, 1945 marked the end of the bloodiest war in human history, the victory over fascism and the return of peace.
On this festive day, we bow our heads before those who gave their lives for our bright future, who forged Victory through their heroism and labor. We honor the memory of the heroes whose courage and selflessness allowed us to live in freedom.
Victory Day is not merely a historical date, it is a symbol of the indomitable spirit and unity of our peoples in the face of a common enemy. Today, as during the trials of the past, our servicemen stand shoulder to shoulder and, despite the difficult conditions of the Special Military Operation, demonstrate solidarity in the struggle for justice, security and the right to free development.
On this significant day, I wish you, dear Badra Zurabovich, and all the brotherly people of the Republic of Abkhazia good health, well-being, prosperity and peaceful skies above.
Happy Great Victory Day!”
