This day symbolizes the strength, unity, and centuries-long history of a great nation that brings together many peoples on the basis of shared values, respect for traditions, and responsibility for the future.

Abkhazia and Russia are connected not only by good-neighbourly relations, but also by a strategic partnership founded on trust, mutual support, and a shared history. For the people of Abkhazia, Russia has always been, and continues to be, a reliable friend and our principal ally. We highly value the consistent support provided by the Russian Federation in ensuring security, promoting economic and social development, and strengthening the institutions of our state.

I would also like to express my special gratitude to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Thanks to his constant attention and support, relations between Abkhazia and Russia continue to grow stronger and develop across all areas of cooperation. We deeply appreciate the assistance and support that Russia extends to Abkhazia at the most important moments.

I am confident that our allied relations will continue to serve the interests of the peoples of Abkhazia and Russia and will contribute to stability, peace, and prosperity in the region.
