Badra Gunba emphasized that the current leadership of Bashkortostan maintains this continuity and cherishes bilateral ties.
The Head of the State expressed gratitude for the participation in the reconstruction of the Sukhum embankment, emphasizing that it had become a historic event. Badra Gunba expressed confidence that the residents and guests of Abkhazia will long remember this landmark decision, which has become another testament to fraternal relations.
Speaking about cooperation, the President highlighted the regular exchange between creative teams. The head of the State emphasized that mutual cultural enrichment contributes to strengthening ties and shaping a common future.
The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, thanked the President for the warm welcome. According to him, each visit to Abkhazia confirms the sincere desire of the peoples to strengthen friendship, and the joint projects being implemented serve as a solid foundation for further expanding cooperation in all areas.
Radiy Khabirov emphasized that the main task of the leadership of both republics is to ensure economic development and create comfortable conditions for the rapprochement of citizens. In particular, he noted the successful operation of the direct Ufa-Sukhum flight, which opened up new opportunities for mutual travel of citizens.
During the meeting, issues of expanding trade turnover were also discussed. Radiy Khabirov noted the emerging growth in mutual trade volumes, confirming Bashkortostan's readiness to supply its products and its interest in purchasing Abkhazian agricultural goods.
Radiy Khabirov highly praised the progress of the reconstruction work on the Sukhum embankment, emphasizing that this project will become another bright symbol of the friendship between the two peoples.
For his significant personal contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Bashkortostan, socio-economic development of Abkhazia, and active support, the President of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba, awarded the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, with the Order of "Akhdz-Apsha" of the II degree.
Badra Gunba noted that he highly values the support that the leadership of Bashkortostan provides to Abkhazia. The head of the State also emphasized that the constructive contribution of everyone who supports the republic will always find deep recognition and high appreciation at the state level.
In turn, for strengthening friendship between Abkhazia and the Republic of Bashkortostan, by the Decree of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, the President of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba, was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples.
