The Head of the State was informed about the results of the work done. At this stage, builders have fully reconstructed a 1700-meter section of the embankment. The total area of the renovated pedestrian zones is 10,200 square meters, and the funding for the current stage is 136 million rubles. During the modernization, specialists completely replaced the utility networks, laid durable wear-resistant coatings, and installed modern lighting lines protected from the aggressive effects of sea salt.

As part of further development, it is planned to extend the embankment by another 900 meters. This project envisages the construction of two pedestrian bridges, which will allow for the improvement of an additional 3600 square meters of territory.

The President expressed gratitude to the entrepreneurs who provided part of the territory of their facilities for the continuation of the embankment, noting that this decision demonstrates their responsibility and love for the city.

Badra Gunba emphasized that the Gagra embankment is the city's calling card, therefore its high-quality renovation is fundamentally important both for the comfort of local residents and for the development of the tourism potential of the entire republic.
