According to the Head of State, the country's leadership will continue to do everything possible to improve the quality of life of citizens and residents of the entire region. Among the priorities and immediate plans, Badra Gunba named the solution of key infrastructure issues in the district.
In particular, the President informed about the planned repair of the main roads leading to Tkuarchal. Separately, the Head of State noted the need to restore the Patraz road, which during the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia connected the besieged city with the villages of Tkuarchal in the eastern part of the country and had strategic military significance.
The President also said that he had instructed the Capital Construction Department and the district administration to solve the long-standing problem of the water supply system. As a result of heavy rainfall and floods, wastewater entered the intake wells, making drinking water unsuitable for consumption. This problem will be completely eliminated.
Separately, Badra Gunba focused on the elimination of the consequences of the recent natural disaster that engulfed the Tkuarchal district. The call for help in restoring washed-out roads was answered not only by natives of the district, but also by business leaders and entrepreneurs from all over the republic. The Head of State expressed his sincere gratitude to all those who did not remain indifferent in a difficult moment. During the meeting, letters of appreciation from the President of Abkhazia were presented to citizens and entrepreneurs who actively assisted in overcoming the consequences of the disaster.
