The ceremony was attended by President Badra Gunba, Vice President Beslan Bigvava, Prime Minister Vladimir Delba, members of the Government, as well as representatives of the scientific and creative intelligentsia.

Earlier, on October 17, 2025, President Badra Gunba signed a decree establishing the State Commission for the Preservation of the Literary and Scientific Heritage of Bagrat Shinkuba.

The President noted the importance of preserving the poet’s creative legacy for future generations and emphasized that his works are an integral part of the national culture.
