Welcoming the guests, Badra Gunba emphasized the importance of interaction between the tax authorities of Abkhazia and Russia, noting that the cooperation has acquired a practical character and is already yielding concrete results.
The President emphasized that the Federal Taxation Service of Russia is rightfully considered one of the most modern and technologically advanced tax services in the world, and the digitalization and tax administration solutions implemented by Russian specialists serve as an important benchmark for Abkhazia.
The Head of the State highly appreciated the support of the FNS of Russia in modernizing the tax system of Abkhazia. Badra Gunba noted that the implementation of digital tools, including the online cash register system and new administration mechanisms, became possible thanks to the assistance and expert guidance of Russian specialists.
Daniil Egorov reported that joint projects planned at the beginning of the year are being implemented on schedule. He clarified that the installation of online cash registers has already begun in the republic, which is only the first stage of development.
According to him, specialists face a serious challenge that requires simultaneously ensuring tax fairness and creating convenient, comfortable conditions for taxpayers so that the entire system functions clearly.
Daniil Egorov emphasized the importance of transferring Russian experience to Abkhaz colleagues, who are successfully adapting software solutions to the realities of the republic.
In conclusion of the meeting, the President expressed gratitude to his Russian colleagues for their attention to the issues discussed, their willingness to share experience, and to provide practical assistance.
