First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergey Kiriyenko arrived to Abkhazia on a working visit.
President of the Republic of Abkhazia Badra Gunba and First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergey Kiriyenko held a working meeting, during which they discussed the implementation of joint projects in the social, economic, and infrastructural spheres.

Special attention was paid to the issues of the Abkhazian-Russian investment program of preferential lending and the implementation of agreements signed at the Abkhazian International Economic Forum-2026 in April. A separate part of the meeting was dedicated to the topic of the start of the tourist season in the republic.

The parties also touched upon the prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation, confirming their intention to continue implementing programs aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and strengthening the economic potential of the republic.
