July 5th is a special date in Venezuela's history, symbolizing the courage, strength of spirit, and the people's unwavering pursuit of freedom, independence, and sovereign development. These enduring values are a strong foundation for statehood and national unity.

The Republic of Abkhazia and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela are bound by relations of friendship, mutual respect, and trust.

In these current days, Venezuela is going through severe trials caused by a devastating earthquake that brought pain and irreparable losses to thousands of people. The people of Abkhazia sincerely sympathize with the friendly people of Venezuela. I am confident that thanks to their resilience and unity, the Venezuelan people will be able to overcome the consequences of this tragedy and rebuild all that has been destroyed.
