President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba signed a decree awarding the honorary title of "People's Artist of the Republic of Abkhazia" to Natiko Alekseevna Bigvava, soloist of the Gudauta vocal-instrumental ensemble "Ritsa," for her high performance skills and significant contribution to the development of national Abkhazian culture.
President Badra Gunba and Vice President Beslan Bigvava visited the exhibition "He Who Lost His Homeland Loses Everything," dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Muhajirs. The exposition opened today at the National Art Gallery. The exhibition features works by People's Artist of Abkhazia Batal Dzhapua. They are based on Bagrat Shinkuba's novel "The Last of the Departed ". Among them are the "Aublaa" series of works, portraits of elders, and other paintings.
The inspection was attended by Vice President Beslan Bigvava, Head of the Presidential Administration Beslan Eshba, and Head of the Sukhum Administration Timur Agrba. They visited each of the four sites, and Timur Agrba reported on the progress of repair work at each of them.
The Special Purpose Center of the State Security Service of the Republic of Abkhazia marked 28 years. On the occasion of the professional holiday, the Commander-in-Chief Badra Gunba visited the TSSN SGB base.
 As the Head of State previously stated, the main goal of establishing the Council under the President is to unite the efforts of all political parties and public organizations for the development of the country, as well as for solving key social and economic problems.
The exhibition opened today at the Central Exhibition Hall. The solemn opening ceremony was also attended by Vice-President Beslan Bigvava, Mayor of Sukhum Timur Agrba, Russian Ambassador to Abkhazia Mikhail Shurgalin, representatives of the public and clergy.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Unified Religious Administration of Muslims of Abkhazia, Mufti Timur Dzyba.
Members of the Government, Parliament deputies, the leadership of the Gudauta district, representatives of the Armenian community, villagers, and school graduates of different years also took part in the event.
Head of the Abkhazian Orthodox Church , Priest Vissarion Apliaa, informed the President about the Church’s current activities and the pressing issues facing the clergy. In particular, the discussion concerned on the preservation of Orthodox traditions, the condition of church complexes, and the organization of church services in the republic's districts. 
For outstanding personal contributions to the development and implementation of foreign policy, the promotion of the interests of the Republic of Abkhazia internationally, and the development and strengthening of political ties with foreign states, the honorary title “Honored Worker of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Abkhazia” was awarded to Sergey Mironovich Shamba.
Over the course of two hours, the Head of State answered more than 20 questions covering key areas of the country’s development. The discussion focused on the priorities of domestic and foreign policy, ongoing personnel decisions, the development of the economy, and the current situation in the energy sector. Current healthcare issues and the implementation of youth policy were also discussed.
The head of state emphasized that this work must continue, despite the fact that it is often not visible to the general public.
